CrossFit Classes

You’ll be participating in group classes, generally ranging between 4-12 people. Class structure generally looks like:

  • Brief: During the brief, your coach will go over the workout and any additional strength or skill work for that day.
  • Warm Up: Then, you will be led by your coach through a warm up that is tailored to that day's specific workout.
  • Strength and Skill: Some days, there will be a dedicated time before the workout for a strength session or skill session.
  • The WOD: The WOD (or Workout Of the Day) changes daily based on our current training cycle.
  • Cool Down: Enjoy a few extra minutes at the end of class to stretch, roll out, cold plunge, or chat with your fellow Vexers.

What to expect?

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual. At CFVex, classes consist of members from the day 1 athletes all the way to competitive CrossFitters.

CrossFit is designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of strength, mobility, weightlifting, gymnastics, and body weight movements.

All of our CrossFit Classes are coach-led. Expect to be coached and corrected- it's what will make you better!
